Composition of first aid kit for a hike in the Graian Alps

The following is a specific list of components of the first aid kit, which has been applied in our hike.

This first aid kit is designed for 8 people for a hike on middle mountains. Please note that: the list has informational in nature, it may not be a specific list of medicines required for taking in the mountain hiking, many drugs can be replaced with analogues from the same pharmacological group, the use of medications without necessary knowledge and skills may harm the health, and become a serious threat to life.

Attantion, please: all the names of medicines have been translated from Russian. This means that in your country these drugs may have a other name. Either these drugs generally are not sold in your country, but must have their counterparts.

Prophylaxis of tick-borne encephalitis in case of mite biting for not vaccinated person: 2 days to 3 tablets three times a day, 2 days to 2 tablets three times a day, 5 days to 1 tablet 3 times a day.

In general, before a hike you should to be familiar with the epidemiological situation of the area in which you are going and in advance to be vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis.
